Chris has held numerous leadership roles in National YMCA initiatives focusing on diversity and inclusion, creating healthy communities, and building programs for cancer survivors. At the Valley Shore YMCA, Chris has built a team that has successfully stabilized the financial position of the organization, increased the impact of the Y in the community through the creation of partnerships and programs, andengagedvolunteersatalllevels.UnderChris’sleadership,theValleyShore YMCA Board of Directors has created a laser-focused strategic plan which will position the orgnaization for growth and success for its next century of service. Chris and his family live in Chester, CT and are active volunteers in their community, particularly around any event that supports their four children. Debbie is a Certified Public Accountant, with extensive experience in non- profit accounting and auditing and nine years of service as the Director of FinanceandAdministrationatVistaLifeInnovations.UnderDebbie’scareful planning, the Valley Shore YMCA has managed to cut annual expenses by $540,000 annually while increasing member services, replacing equipment, andreducingdebt.Debbie’sfinancialexpertiseprovidesconfidenceincapital campaignbudgeting,grantreporting,anddailyfinancials. Tony has more than fifteen years experience at numerous YMCAs. He specializesinthememberexperienceandisadriverforourYMCA’sreputation as“thefriendlyY.”Tonyhasassembledateamthathasstabilizedmembership levelsandincreasedmembershipprogramparticipationbymorethan300%. UnderTony’sleadership,theYhaslaunchedDelaytheDiseaseforthosewith Parkinson’s,MoveforBetterBalance,andotheruniquesupportprograms. Over the past five years, the Valley Shore YMCA has strengthened finances and reached out across the community to build relationships and partnerships that will serve our residents in all demographics.
